Duties Costs Choosing a provider Enforcement news

The Checker

What does your business legally have to do?

Seven questions, and a register of every duty that applies to you. Not a generic list: the answer changes with your premises, your headcount, what is on site, and which nation's law you sit under. Tell us when each was last done and it becomes a schedule.

  1. 1 What type of premises do you run?
  2. 2 Was the building built before 2000?
  3. 3 Do you employ anyone?
  4. 4 Are any of these on site?
  5. 5 What is your postcode?
  6. 6 When was each of these last done?
  7. 7 Where should we send your results?

It knows which nation you are in

The fire safety Order does not extend to Scotland or Northern Ireland. Your postcode decides which statute your answer is written against.

It says which intervals are law

Most of them are not. The law says "regularly" and a British Standard supplies the number, and we mark which is which on every line.

It is not a risk assessment

We publish information. We never advise, we never do the work, and this does not replace a competent person.

Ready when you are

We're paid a referral fee by the providers we introduce you to. It never changes your price, and we're paid the same whichever provider you choose.
