How we make money
Referral commission, and nothing else. When we introduce you to a provider and you go on to use them, that provider pays us a fee.
What that means for you
- It does not change your price. The fee comes out of the provider's margin.
- We are paid the same whichever provider you choose from the ones we introduce, so there is nothing for us to gain by steering you.
- We never do the work. We are not consultants, assessors or advisers, and we have no stake in you needing more work than you need.
What we will never do
- No display advertising. Not now, not later.
- No paid rankings. A provider cannot buy a better position on this site.
- No guaranteed savings. Anyone promising a guaranteed saving on a statutory duty is telling you something they cannot know.
- No advice. We publish information. Deciding what to do with it is yours, and a competent professional's.
Who we introduce you to
Only accredited providers: UKAS or ARCA for asbestos work, third-party certification for fire risk assessment, RICS, RSA or IRRV for rating, and RECCo TPI Code signatories for energy. Where an accreditation matters we explain what it actually means rather than printing the logo.
Every provider we are paid by
This is the whole list, including the ones we have applied to and not been accepted onto yet. A blank rate means the programme does not publish one and we have not been told it. The dates are when we last read the published terms.

Why we tell you all this
Because the alternative is a footer link nobody reads. If a website is asking for your details, the least it owes you is a plain statement of who pays it and what for.
